Shaya lives with her mums and their best friend Ari as well as Michael, her husband in a modern family in a little village called Fränkisch-Krumbach, close to Darmstadt in Germany. Sometimes some of Michaels six daugthers come to visit the family. This weekend it is Laksmi. Ari's mum "adopted" Shaya as her grandchild.
